Zscaler x SketchDeck

Storyboards that set great video in motion.

Prescriptive, motion-aware boards built for your brand, your timeline, and the animators who have to bring it to life.

The Brief

What we heard.

Your storyboards aren't the problem. The problem is what happens after them.

Motion designers open the files and have to guess. Transitions are implied. Movement isn't specified. The detail that was supposed to come later never did. By the time anyone catches it, you're already mid-animation and backing out is expensive.

Then there's the brand. A triangle you can't show the tip of. Two sets of event guidelines that don't talk to each other. Standards built by someone who's no longer there to explain the thinking. And a 16:9 format the brand wasn't really designed for.

You need boards that answer the questions before they get asked. Someone who reads both brand decks before they draw a frame, figures out where there's room to flex, and delivers work your motion team can actually execute.

That's what we're here to do.

Our Process

How we work.

Step 1

Brand immersion

Before we draw anything, we study your guidelines. Both sets. Zenith Live and the general event look. We map where the rules are firm, where there's creative room, and where the conflicts live (like triangle transitions) so we're solving for them in the boards, not discovering them in animation.

Step 2

Motion-first storyboarding

Every board we produce specifies movement, not just layout. Kinetic text behavior. Gradient handling. Transition logic. Element sequencing. If a motion designer has to infer intent from what we've delivered, we haven't finished the job.

Step 3

Stakeholder-ready presentation

Boards are delivered in Figma or PDF, formatted for your existing feedback workflow. Comments enabled. Organised for the approval chain. Built so stakeholders can see what they're signing off on rather than imagine it.

Step 4

Handoff to animation

Clean, annotated, and ready to move straight into After Effects. No back-and-forth, no interpretation required.

Optional

Animatics

For higher-stakes projects or sequences with complex motion, we can produce animatics. Think of them as low-fidelity motion previews: enough movement to validate the concept before animation begins. We'll share more detail on scope and effort when we have a specific project to scope against.

Your Storyboarding Team

Who's on your team.

This isn't a roster of everyone who might touch your work. It's the bench we've assembled specifically for Zscaler, senior creatives who understand the brief and are allocated to be available when you need them.
